A blog of Adrian's adventures! (Formerly a Peace Corps Blog) "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." – Mark Twain

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas, in Guarani

As Paraguay is a bilingual country with Guarani and Spanish, this is how you can ring in the holiday spirit in both languages.

Terevy’aite ko ary pyahupe!!! Feliz año nuevo!! Happy New Year in Guarani and Spanish! You can also say in Guarani: Vy’apave ary pyahúre.

V’ya pave mita tuparape!! Feliz navidad!! Merry Christmas in Guarani and Spanish!!

And what about other languages? Happy New Year in Patwa, Samoan or Mandarin? How about Arabic or Siswati?

From all of us at Peace Corps, in every part of the world, we wish everyone in the Peace Corps family a happy and safe New Year and a happy holiday season! See the link below for Peace Corps’ official video wishing you a happy new year!

See these pictures from my parent’s house in USA, we wish you happy holidays!
